Account & Data Deletion

1. Overview
Mare Games OÜ allows you to request deletion of your game account and associated personal data. This page explains how to make a deletion request, what data is deleted, and what data may be retained. This is provided to meet Google Play's Account Deletion requirement.
2. How to Request Deletion
You can request deletion in either of these ways:
- In-App (recommended): If our game provides an in-app deletion option, you can find it in Settings → Account → Delete Account.
- By Email: Send an email to support@maregames.co from the same Google account you used to sign in, with the subject: “Account Deletion Request”.
3. Verification
To protect your account, we may ask you to confirm ownership before deleting. If you email us, please include your in-game username (if any) and the last date you played.
4. What Data Will Be Deleted
- Firebase Authentication record (your login identifier).
- In-game profile such as username, progress, stats, and settings stored in our backend.
- Support history that is directly linked to your account (unless retention is required by law).
Deletion covers data we control. For data stored by Google/Firebase services, deletion is performed through Firebase tools and APIs.
5. What Data May Be Retained
Some data may be retained in a limited form:
- Aggregated analytics that no longer identifies you personally.
- Crash reports already stored in aggregated/pseudonymized form.
- Legal/financial records if required to comply with law or resolve disputes.
6. Timeframe
We aim to complete deletion within 30 days of a verified request. In complex cases, we may require additional time, and we will notify you if so.
7. Alternative Requests
If you don't want to delete your entire account, you can email us to request deletion of specific data categories (for example, support emails), where possible.
