1. Introduction
Mare Games OÜ (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use our mobile games and related services (collectively, the “Services”), including Gravital and QuizBattle.
2. Data Controller
Mare Games OÜ is the data controller for personal data processed under this Policy.

3. Information We Collect
- Account & Authentication Data (where applicable): If a game offers Google Sign-In, we receive a unique user ID, basic profile information (such as name and email address), and a secure authentication token. Gravital currently plays without an account.
- Gameplay & Usage Data (Google Firebase Analytics): Device identifiers (a Firebase installation ID and standard device metadata such as model, OS version, and language), and usage events such as app opens, session start and duration, level starts and completions, screen views, and in-app purchase events. Analytics data is tied to your installation identifier, not to your real-world identity.
- Crash & Diagnostics Data (Google Firebase Crashlytics): Crash logs, stack traces, and device state at the time of a crash (such as available memory, OS version, and device model), used solely to identify and fix stability issues.
- Purchase Data: If you make an in-app purchase, the relevant app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) processes the payment and shares a purchase event with our analytics so we can measure conversion and reconcile receipts. We do not receive your payment card details.
- Advertising Data (Gravital, Unity LevelPlay): Gravital integrates the Unity LevelPlay ad-mediation SDK to display in-game advertisements. Ads served through Unity LevelPlay are contextual only — they are not personalized to you. The SDK may receive standard device signals (device model, operating system, language, coarse region derived from IP address) and ad-interaction events (impressions, clicks, completed views) so that it can deliver and measure ads. We do not request the Apple Advertising Identifier (IDFA) and Gravital does not show the App Tracking Transparency prompt. At the time of submission, Gravital's ad serving is disabled pending ad-network approval; ads will begin appearing only after that approval, with the behavior described here.
- Support Communications: If you contact us, we collect the information you provide (such as email, message content, and attachments).
We do not knowingly collect sensitive categories of personal data.
3a. What We Do Not Do
- No personalized advertising and no IDFA. We do not request the Apple Advertising Identifier (IDFA) or Android Advertising ID, we do not show the App Tracking Transparency prompt, and ads served in our games are contextual only — not based on your activity in other apps or websites.
- No sale of personal data. We do not sell your personal data and we do not share it with data brokers.
- No cross-app or cross-site tracking of your activity outside our games for advertising purposes.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Authenticate you and provide account-based features.
- Operate, maintain, and improve gameplay, matchmaking, and balance.
- Understand player behavior and improve user experience.
- Detect, prevent, and fix bugs, crashes, and security incidents.
- Respond to your requests and provide customer support.
5. Legal Bases (EEA/UK Users)
If you are in the European Economic Area or UK, we process your data under these legal bases:
- Contract: To provide the Services you request.
- Legitimate Interests: To improve the Services, ensure stability, and prevent fraud.
- Consent: Where required (for example, if we introduce optional tracking features).
6. Sharing and Processing by Third Parties
We use trusted third-party processors to run our Services:
- Google Sign-In (authentication; QuizBattle only)
- Firebase Analytics (usage analytics)
- Firebase Crashlytics (crash reporting)
- Unity LevelPlay by Unity Technologies (ad mediation and delivery; Gravital only; contextual ads, no IDFA)
These providers process data under their own privacy policies and data-processing terms.
7. International Transfers
Our third-party providers may process data on servers outside your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described here:
- Account data: kept while your account is active.
- Analytics and crash data: typically retained in aggregated or pseudonymized form for up to 26 months, unless we need a shorter/longer period for legal or operational reasons.
- Support communications: retained as long as necessary to resolve your request and comply with legal obligations.
9. Children's Privacy
Our games are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your data, and to object or withdraw consent.

11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data. However, no system can be guaranteed 100% secure.
